So I'm back. What has happened so far in my world of art? Not much. Thought up (yet another) cool idea for a webcomic. Bandage Girl! Basic premise: A spoof on superhero comics (as if there aren't enough already) in the tradition of Tank Girl and Gen 13 (art wise). The villan, Dr. Adam Mata (Doc. Mata) is hell bent on conquering the world (clichè numero uno) and Unagi Ishiro (Bandage Girl) must stop him. Simple enough. Now make with the funny! Doc. Mata was raised in Boston thereby giving him the wicked good Bostonian accent. Doc. Mata is pronounced "Dahk Matah" thereby continuing the funny Boston schtick. And Adam Matah sounds like "Atom Matter". See, funny. His got a bulbous brainy head and whatnot to put emphasis on his evil genius-ness. Ishiro's parents were killed by Mata when she was a little girl. Ishiro is a streetwise-hard drinkin'-fast talkin' grrl. The name Bandage Girl is yet another play on Mata's accent. (No the whole plot doesn't hinge on the accent) In their first encounter Mata yells to his henchmen "Get the bondage girl!" (Ishiro's costume is skimpy black vinyl) but it comes out sounding "Get dat bandage girl!" Okay, enough with the preview. Bandage Girl won't be on a regular schedule, I'll update it whenever I finish a new batch of pages. This means the quality will be better than previous works. + frenchtoast +

Why do I have this constant need to command an audience? Am I insecure about just being myself? I don't know. I feel comfortable with who I am. I have this restless desire to have my voice heard by millions of people. I crave celebrity status. But not the cheesy celebrity status of tv stars. I prefer the more notorius roles of musicians and authors. It's a redundant cyle, ne? We want to be famous (or imfamous) but when we finally achieve that social status of celebrity we push it away saying that we don't want it. Hmmm....it's odd.

Okay, I was doodling today and I discovered that + waffles + is going to be renamed french toast. Why you ask? I'll tell you why. I figured out that the main character from + waffles + is named Daisuke. He's not so insane as the old Daisuke but he still not playing with a full deck (he's missing a 6 of spades). "But why french toast, damnit!?" Just chill! Chichi is Daisuke's french roommate. Making sense now? Of course not. Chichi is the french chick with a heart of gold and enough bubblegum to share with everyone. Cut to the chase, she's a ditz. A sex crazed ditz! Buwahahaha! And Daisuke (who used to represent one of my many alter egos but grew into his own person) is no longer a floating head. He's got a haircut and a body and what not. I dumped the entire + waffles + supporting cast (save Pop Goth Kid) because they sucked. Pop Goth Kid who's real name I have yet to decide is Daisuke's best friend. Why yes, french toast is a cute wendy ripoff! No, it's not really. If I gotta explain why I chose french toast for the title then I have a saftey helmet for you to wear. Of course french toast will be smattered with hentai. Can't help but love the stuff. And as for Kimarimonku, it's going fine. Right. So it's Friday and I'm actually chuggin' my lil' tugboat along quite well. Despite numerous projects in the works, I feel as if my nose is above water. In the middle of developing a third character for my yaoi manga. Drew up a page yesterday and I realized that I never drew anyone kissing before!! Shocking I know!!
